Work meeting between Banking Association of BiH and European Banking Federation

On February 3, 2021 a working video meeting between the Association of Banks of BiH and the European Banking Federation was held.

The meeting was attended by: on behalf of EBF CEO Mr. Win Mij and Tina Marlot, while on behalf of the Association of Banks of BiH, the CEO Berislav Kutle and Velida Krvavac were present.
The aim of the meeting is to improve cooperation between the two institutions. The topics of the meeting were: Introduction and news from EBF, activities and priorities of Banking Association of BiH, exchange of views and future cooperation. The Association of Banks presented to the audience the macroeconomic data of BiH and the situation in the banking sector of BiH, as well as the planned activities of the Baning Association of BiH in 2021, with reference to the White Book and priority topics. The EBF emphasized the importance of the Balkan countries for the EU, and expressed readiness to provide support and access to all relevant topics that may be of importance to UBBiH, such as: digitalization, financial education, exchange of ideas and experiences with other banking associations through regular associate conferences and meetings, and access to reports and analyzes at their disposal.
The European Banking Federation is the voice of the European banking sector, uniting 32 national banking associations in Europe that together represent around 3,500 banks - large and small, domestic and international - employing around two million people.
